Hello! I’m a composer, pianist, and comedian from New York City who once played piano for Mariah Carey.

I’m currently an Associate Music Director for the Story Pirates and their award-winning Podcast, as well as a contributing composer to the popular Calm App. I’ve composed music for Comedy Central, TruTV, and TBS, Improv Everywhere as well as web series, podcasts, short films, and videos across the internet. I’ve worked on projects with P!nk, Maya Rudolph, Jennifer Garner, Wanda Sykes, Matt Rogers, Stephanie Hsu, Alex Brightman, Stephanie Park, and Lilli Cooper.

For several years I taught and performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) Theatre in New York, where I created the Musical Improv Team Rumpleteaser.

I’m the writer, lyricist, and composer of the short musical Seventeen Seventy-Something which ran for a year at the UCB Theatre. I recently completed an expanded version, now called Jesus Christ and The American Revolution, of which I did a concert reading in 2021.

I also performed a solo show, Gersenality: One Man's Search for Google Greatness, which I originally put up at the UCB Theatre and subsequently toured around the country.
